UPDATE: MFI Peruvian Attaway had a white or beige female cria on June 27th out of ELK Matrix's Macho Camacho. Attaway's sire, Snowmass Millenium, passed away in August 2011. Millenium was known for producing offspring with solid stature and long, dense fleeces with excellent fleece character. He will be deeply missed. Attaway's dam is MFI Peruvian Atlantia, one of the daughters of Peruvian Rolex.

UPDATE: Round Again had a 10.7 lbs, white or beige male cria on July 13th out of ELK Matrix's Macho Camacho. Round Again finished her show career with a bang at the Buckeye Alpaca Show May 1-3! She took a 1st Place in the White Yearling Halter class, and then took Reserve Color Champion. She also took a 3rd Place in her class in White Fleece behind two Cas-Cad-Nac alpacas, one of them taking the Reserve Color Champion. 2014: Gates Alpaca Ranch would like to welcome the newest addition to our herd! When you look at this photo you know what we have here! She is covered from head to toe in fleece and genetics. The superb stylings of her sire FRONTRUNNER (bringing Fenja, Rolex, Millenium, Tafeta and Legacy) are only enhanced by the super powers of her dam ROUNDABOUT (bringing Mr. Antonio, Hemingway and Rosana) which bolster this already packed pedigree. Round Again took a 1st Place in the White Yearling Halter class ahead of Seven Springs and Stachowski Alpacas at the Kentucky Classic Alpaca Show. Round Again took a 2nd Place in the White Yearling Halter class behind the eventual Color Champion at the Best of the US Alpaca Show. We are very excited to announce that MFI Peruvian Round Again took 1st place, Color Champion, and Judge's Choice in the fleece show at OABA Alpacafest Alpaca Show Nov. 1 & 2. She also took 6th place (for a specific reason) in the White Yearling Full Fleece Halter class, against alpacas from Rock Creek, Heather's Acre Alpaca Farm, The Wood Farm, and One Fine Day Alpacas (very tough class). Judge Cathy Markley commented that she was the complete package but was just not carrying as much fineness as those ahead of her in the class. Round Again also took a 2nd in a class of 8 at the VAOBA Expo fleece show in White Juvenile. She placed behind the eventual Reserve Color Champion and Judge's Choice winner.

If you are looking for a fiber machine look no further, as Easy Rider is exactly that! He has very fine, uniform fiber with a nice soft handle to it and a long staple length. He also has perfect confirmation and bite. Passed away - 1/6/17

This little girl is showing great potential, but what else would you expect from a combination of Sunburst Peruvian Ginger Girl and DG Peruvian Samsonite! Sadly, due to the unexpected death of Samsonite, this little girl will be one of only fifteen crias he will have sired. She is growing by leaps and bounds, big boned, perfect confirmation, and her fiber is coming in very bright with nice crimp structure. Passed away - 1/12/17

Sunburst Peruvian Ginger Girl gave birth on 6/8/16 to a 16.9 lbs male cria from MFI Peruvian Realto. He appears to be a medium brown. We can't wait to see how this little guy progresses. Photos and his own page to come soon. Passed away - 1/22/2022

CONSISTENT CHARACTER, SUPERIOR BRIGHTNESS, GOOD STAPLE LENGTH, FINENESS AND DENSITY. Patriot's conformation is solid, as you can see by the photos. Straight legs, level topline, handsome head and a good bite. Patriot's sire, SSF Peruvian Pablo, brings "lingering fineness" genetics to the table with a 5th year micron of 20.0! Patriot's dam, FA Kimberlite, is a daughter of Snowmass DeBeers, who brings in the awesome "lingering fineness" genetics of Peruvian Snowmaster and Peruvian Hemingway. Patriot is technically 15/16 Peruvian and 1/16 Chilean. Passed Away 4/3/23

Priestess was purchased to instantly go into our foundation herd. She has extremely powerful genetics behind her with names like Snowmass Incaaccoyo Star, Snowmaster, Accoyocusani Legacyena, Snowmass Accoyocusani, Augusto, Legacy, and Don Julio. Along with those genetics Priestess at her age is keeping her fineness and uniformity, has correct conformation and bite, and is in the top 1% of EPD's for fleece weight. Most importantly Priestess passes her positive fiber traits onto her crias resulting in show winning offspring. Priestess also has a very impressive show record of her own with one Judge's Choice, three Championships (one of them being at the Futurity), and numerous blue ribbons. Priestess is also the mother of our new outstanding herdsire ELK Matrix's Macho Camacho! Passed Away 1/12/2021
